Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how BetCaddie ("we," "our," or "us") handles information in connection with the BetCaddie mobile application ("the App"), available on iOS via the Apple App Store and on Android via Google Play.

The short version: BetCaddie does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you enter — player names, scores, and game results — stays entirely on your device. We have no account system, no login, and no cloud sync.

Data We Collect

BetCaddie does not collect personal or sensitive user data. The App operates entirely on-device. Specifically:

• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• We do not collect or access your location
• We do not access your contacts, calendar, camera, microphone, or photo library
• We do not create user accounts or require any form of login
• We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking purposes
• We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android)
• We do not track you across other apps or websites

Data Storage & Retention

All data entered into BetCaddie — including player names, scores, game stakes, and match results — is stored exclusively on your device using the standard local storage provided by the iOS and Android operating systems.

• No data is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers
• Data persists only as long as the App is installed on your device
• Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all associated data
• We do not retain any user data on our end because none is ever transmitted to us

Data Deletion & User Control

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control at all times:

• Delete match data: You can clear individual matches from within the App
• Delete all data: Uninstalling the App removes all BetCaddie data from your device completely
• Revoke permissions: You can manage any App permissions at any time through your device's system Settings

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We may receive limited, anonymous, non-identifiable analytics through the following platform-provided frameworks:

• Apple App Store Connect Analytics (iOS): Provides aggregated data such as app download counts, crash rates, and session counts. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify individual users. Apple's data practices are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Console (Android): Provides similar aggregated, anonymized statistics. Google's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar services) into the App.

Advertising

BetCaddie contains no advertisements of any kind. We do not integrate third-party advertising networks or SDKs, and we do not display ads to users.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties — because we do not collect any user data to begin with. BetCaddie does not use third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, social login, or any other purpose that would involve the collection or transmission of user data.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

BetCaddie is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal data from any user, we are not collecting data from children either. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the App, please contact us at protallygolfapp@gmail.com and we will address it promptly.

International Users & Applicable Laws

BetCaddie may be downloaded and used internationally. Although we do not collect personal data, we acknowledge applicable privacy frameworks including:

• GDPR (EU/EEA): Since we do not collect or process personal data, most GDPR obligations do not apply. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate disclosures.
• CCPA (California, USA): We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to know what data is collected — in our case, none.
• COPPA (USA): As noted above, we do not collect data from any users, including those under 13.

We are committed to complying with all applicable privacy laws in the jurisdictions where the App is available.

Security

Although we do not collect data, we are committed to the security of any information you store locally within the App. All app data is stored within the App's sandboxed storage, isolated from other apps per iOS and Android platform security standards. We do not transmit data over the internet, which eliminates network-level security risks.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the App's features, or applicable laws. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. The current policy is always available at www.protallygolfapp.com/privacy. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
